Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are actually open and will close on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home by using a combined gross home earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the right Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored of their South African ID.
